Designer and owner of the “He Waka Tauihu e Parepareā Ana – Navigating Māori Land” programme which launched in 2016 in response to the new proposed changes of the Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993 with the intent of re-engaging our people with their whenua.
In 2019, the “Te Waka Parepareā Trust was formed to bring together a team of specialist skills, qualifications, and abilities to design, develop systems, programmes, wānanga and tools to transform whānau and their communities through innovative solutions. The programme “He Waka Tauihu e Parepareā Ana – Navigating Māori Land” transferred across to sit under the trusteeship of the “Te Waka Parepareā Trust” which was formalized as a Charitable Trust 31 January 2020.
